Let’s Make Your Book

My goal is to tell your stories and to help you capture and share them with those you love most. The truth is that most of our family history is in bits of memory, loosely organized in dusty piles, or stuck on a digital ancestry site. Let’s fix that and give your most important family heritage the place it deserves in your home and for your family.

If you have been meaning to capture your most important family stories, but have not had the time, or have not known where to start … or, if you a trove of family history discoveries on an online ancestry platform, but do not know how to share it in a meaningful way, then I am here to help!

Sharing the hard-won experiences and character of your family is one of the most important things you can do. And nothing can replace the lasting value of a book that you can hold, share, and read together. Books like these often become the most important thing you own. Let’s make a lifelong gift for your whole family!

Testimonial: “I want you to know that I loaned the book to my friend/mgr. of my apartment. Tonight she, her husband, and son were at my door returning it and marveling at its contents. They commented on how well it was written and put together. Also they were amazed at the historical content and pictures of my family. I gave you full credit for the work. I told them that I had done a lot of work finding out about my “mystery” family. Then, you came along and quickly caught up to me and then passed me by!”

Let’s build a bridge between generations. Consider, for example:

  • What does a particular family archive photograph mean to you, that nobody else will appreciate unless you capture the story for others?
  • What do future generations need to know that only you can tell them?
  • Who in your own family deserves to be seen and remembered?
  • What from your archives do you want to turn into a compelling visual-story for your family?

Personally, this mysterious photograph of my great-grandmother Stella Eveline (1886-1920) started everything for me years ago. The book combines our her own words, photographs, family lore, and all of the current historical information that we know. It sits prominently on a bookshelf in our home and will be passed on to my son and nieces. Click on these images to see excerpts from my Stella’s book in rich detail.

Who would you love to honor in your own book like this?
