My name is Damian Koshnick. My amazing wife Jennifer and we enjoy being parents to our kid. He brings a sense of awe and discovery to each new day, which is inspiring. After 8 years in Flagstaff, Arizona, we moved to Salem, Oregon in 2019.
I have a doctorate in Writing Studies and teach “Telling Stories About Your Ancestors” as a Visiting Professor of Writing at Western Oregon University. In addition to my work with clients like you through Life Story Books, I also work and publish in a variety of areas, including family history, grant writing, and the Language Arts. And I used to work as an editor of children’s non-fiction books at Capstone Press.
I started Life Story Booksbecause I know it can be intimidating to capture family stories in formal ways. If it wasn’t, more people would do it. I am here to help make that process easier for you. Together, we will capture some of the most meaningful details of your life and your family heritage for you and your loved ones.
